Recruitment
Florida State University’s Panhellenic community is home to 17 chapters that all offer women the chance to enhance their collegiate experience. Formal recruitment in the Fall allows women to learn more about each unique sisterhood on campus, meet like-minded women, and potentially run home to them on bid day. We encourage all women to consider going through recruitment, as the experience has the ability to positively impact their time at FSU and long after. From our Vice President of Recruitment...
Hi Potential New Members!
Hi, my name is Ella, and I am happy to be this year's Vice President of recruitment. I am originally from Kansas City, Kansas but I now live in Tampa, Florida. I am currently a student at the Florida State University College of Nursing as well as pursuing a minor in Human Development and Child Sciences. I cannot wait to meet you all so soon, but first I want to share how much Alpha Chi has impacted me.
When I went through recruitment in 2021 I knew absolutely nothing about being in a sorority and had no idea if it would be the right decision for me. Looking back now I am so grateful I stuck with the process as it brought me my forever friends and my forever home. The women I met here at Alpha Chi are now the ones I cherish most in life, they have shown me what it's like to be unconditionally loved and support through all life's endeavors. If it wasn't for the women that would drop everything to go to the local ice cream shop, make me laugh when I cried or even sit quietly with me while I studied, I would not be the woman I am today. Each and every woman has helped me grow in so many ways such as a leader, a friend and a student. I can confidently say that I have never felt such a feeling of love and belonging until I stepped through those doors.
If there is one thing I wish for each and every one of you while you go through recruitment it is that you each find a home where you feel confident, loved and like you belong that this community has brought to me. I can’t wait to see you all experience the excitement and butterflies that recruitment once brought many of us women. I hope I was able to show you how impactful the Panhellenic community is for me and hope it can be just as impactful for you.
I can’t wait to see you all in August! Go Noles!
Sending all my love,
Ella
