Recruitment
Florida State University’s Panhellenic community is home to 17 chapters that all offer women the chance to enhance their collegiate experience. Formal recruitment in the Fall allows women to learn more about each unique sisterhood on campus, meet like-minded women, and potentially run home to them on bid day. We encourage all women to consider going through recruitment, as the experience has the ability to positively impact their time at FSU and long after. For more information about the fall Panhellenic Recruitment, visit the Panhellenic website.
From our Vice President of Recruitment...
Hi Potential New Members!
My name is Tia Kearney and I am honored to serve the Beta Eta chapter of Alpha Chi Omega as the 2022 Vice President of Recruitment. I wanted to start off by saying welcome to FSU- I cannot wait for you to experience all it has to offer! Before you get to experience our sisterhood I wanted to share with you a little bit about my experience in this sisterhood of Real. Strong. Women.
Going through recruitment in 2019, I wasn’t aware how much being part of such a strong sisterhood would impact my life. The women I have found in Alpha Chi have been my saving grace through the ups and downs that college has to offer. They are my friends, family, and individuals I look up to. Thanks to the encouragement from these women, I have grown into myself. If it wasn’t for the late night ice cream runs, shoulders to cry on, and sisters to study with I wouldn’t be half the woman I am today. I can confidently say that I have never felt more loved and felt more comfortable standing alongside a group of women. Alpha Chi represents love, growth, and endless support of one another in all endeavors.
I hope with all my heart that each woman going through recruitment can find a community that feels like home and provides them with endless opportunities. For those of you that have already decided to go through Panhellenic recruitment, I cannot wait for the experiences you are about to have. And for those of you who are wondering if joining the Panhellenic community is right for you, I hope I helped show how impactful joining a sisterhood can be for your journey at Florida State University.
Cannot wait to meet y’all in August and Go Noles!
Sending all my love,
Tia Kearney
