Meet our Executive Board!
“Hi! I’m Gaby, an Editing, Writing, and Media major from Miami, Florida. Being Chapter President has been the most fulfilling experience of my life. With my passion for law, this position has helped me develop skills I’m going to need for post graduate education and for life. It has allowed me to create greater connections with my sisters and help them more than I could’ve possibly imagined. I ran for this position to give back to Alpha Chi, but what I didn’t know was how much this position would give back to me.”
VP Chapter Relations & Standards
Hi! My name is Abby Vanderwall and I am so excited to be serving the Beta Eta Chapter of Alpha Chi Omega as the VP of Chapter Relations and Standards. Being from Chicago, Illinois, Alpha Chi has truly been my home away from home as I grow and develop as a student and a real strong woman. I currently work part time at a payroll company while attending school and I am an accounting major that hopes to open my own firm someday. I know the women of alpha chi omega will always support me in my future endeavors and I cannot wait to give back to them this year!
Hello!! My name is Stephanie Flegal and I grew up in a small town in New Hampshire called Goffstown. I am the current Vice President of Finance for the Beta Eta chapter. I am a marketing major with a minor in psychology and I love helping others!! Aside from AXΩ, I participate in Dance Marathon and Best Buddies on campus. I have absolutely loved my time at FSU thus far, and a huge part of that is because of my relationships and personal development at the 518!! My favorite part about being VP Finance is being able to interact with and support all of my sisters. I hope that as VP Finance, I can help sisters get though this financially tough time, and be a resource for anything they need! I want to do my part to give back to a chapter that has done so much for me.
VP Risk Management
Hi my name is Bree. I’m from Worcester, Massachusetts and Alpha Chi has truly become a second home for me. I’m an Interdisciplinary Medical Sciences major and hope to go to medical school to become a pediatric orthopedist. As VP Risk, I am responsible for planning events that are safe for all sisters to attend, and also educating members on physical and mental health preservation. My favorite memory of Alpha Chi is getting dressed up with my sisters to go to functions and dancing the night away in the down-pouring rain at one of them. My goal is for all sisters to find their home away from home, including the lifelong friendships you make here!
VP Ritual Fraternity Appreciation
Hi my name is Leanne Bell and I am proud to serve Beta Eta as the VP of Ritual and Fraternity Appreciation this year. I am a sophomore marketing major from the Tampa Bay Area. Outside of Alpha Chi I am involved in the American Marketing Association, our chapter wide Bible study, and Doulas Greek ministry. You can always find me at the house studying or around campus on my daily jog. I look forward to this year and can’t wait to see what the Real. Strong. Women. of Beta Eta can accomplish together!
Hello! I’m Ellie, a junior in the Public Relations major with a minor in English. I grew up in Northern CA for half of my life, but Miami, FL is where I live now when I’m not in Tallahassee. I ran for Vice President of Recruitment because I was Assistant Recruitment last Fall and absolutely loved it. Recruitment is so special to me because it’s not only a time for us to share a piece of our chapter with potential new members, but it allows us as members to reconnect with our “Why Alpha Chi” and reflect on what we’re grateful for within AXΩ. Something I’m always grateful for is all the role models I’m constantly surrounded by, whom I’m so proud to call my people.
VP Recruitment Information
Hi, my name is Jordan! I’m from Miami, Florida and I’m Beta Eta’s VP Recruitment Information. I am a Psychology and Criminology major, and after college I hope to go to law school. As VPRI I have the responsibility of working alongside our VP Recruitment and the rest of the recruitment team in order to help our sisters bring in the best possible new member class to Alpha Chi. I love recruitment because it is how I met my big, who is actually the one who encouraged me to run for the position. All I want as VPRI is to foster a welcoming environment for not only the new member but all of our sisters as well!
VP New Member Education
Hi! My name is Lila and I am from St. Pete, Florida. I am a cell and molecular neuroscience major and hope to go to medical school to become a doctor. Alpha Chi Omega has given me more than I ever thought I needed. It has given me the most amazing and genuine friendships I have ever had, and with that, the confidence and strength to be the best version of myself. As Vice President of New Member Education, my job is to help all new members easily transition into our chapter, by helping them create friendships through the big/little process and bonding events, as well as educate them on what it means to be an alpha chi and our history. This chapter and the people who make it up mean the world to me, and my goal as VPNME is to help all of our new members feel at home, find their people, and grow into the best real strong women they can be.

I’m currently a Sophomore majoring in Marketing with a minor in Retail Entrepreneurship. I’m so grateful for this chapter for bringing me my people & unconditional happiness. Coming to college so far from home was a huge step for me and I was terrified, but joining AXΩ has truly showed me that I made the right decision and this is my home!! My position on this executive board allows me to give back to the amazing chapter & women that have given me more than I ever could have imagined. It allows me to showcase all our sisters, display their amazing accomplishments and express myself through graphic design! I’m so beyond proud of this chapter & can’t wait to see what all of us Real. Strong. Women. accomplish this year!

As the VP of membership programming I am able to express my ideas and plan events for collegians, parents, and even alumnae. These events help keep the amazing retention rate that we continue to have within our chapter as well as keep sisters engaged with each other and grow their bond within alpha chi. My goal while holding this position is to remind the women of Beta Eta why they chose Alpha Chi and why they are still here. I love watching the joy I get to bring to my sisters and I hope to fulfill all my goals and aspirations while serving.

Growing up I have lived all around the world in 4 countries on 3 continents and have travelled all over to 30 countries. I was raised by a Turkish father and an American mother and have plenty of world experience! I decided to run for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion because for my whole life I have grown up around people who were different than me, and I thrived being challenged. I want to make AXΩ a safe place for anyone to be able to call it home, no matter who you are, where you come from, or what you believe in!

VP Facility Operations
Hello! My name is Valerie Blondal, I’m a Junior majoring Pre-Clinical Professions with the hope of attending Medical school or Physician Assistant school in the near future. I’m beyond honored to serve as the Vice President of Facility Operations this year. I chose to run for this position because as soon as I walked through those red doors I felt at home, and I want every member new and established to feel the same way I did every single day. Without this chapter I wouldn’t have had the confidence, ambition or drive I do today, the women in this chapter inspired me to run for an executive position in Alpha Chi, as well as beyond, I currently serve on the executive board of Best Buddies as the Greek Relations Director and love every second of it. I’m so excited work alongside a strong group of women and see what we accomplish, together.
Hi! I’m Lexi and I serve Beta Eta as VP Philanthropy. I am a Sophomore from Destin, Florida and I am majoring in Communications. I was inspired to run for this position because I so passionate about serving others and this position allows me to fulfill that part of me. I am in charge of planning events like Donuts for DVA, Pizza Pie with Alpha Chi and our annual Paint the town Purple Gala which help raise money for the local Tallahassee Refuge House and raise awareness for the important cause . My favorite memory is when I attended the Domestic Violence Awareness Gala and got to hear stories from women who have been directly impacted by Domestic Violence & were supported by the Refuge House. I am so proud to have a heart of service for this chapter and women who have been survivors of domestic violence.
